Bandages to Hearts: Fund Essential Medical Supplies

During the holiday season, the needs of communities often increase. More accidents, seasonal illnesses, and emergencies mean our volunteers face higher demand than usual and access to medical supplies becomes even more critical.

In many communities in Davao City and nearby areas, basic medical supplies and equipment are limited. During disasters, emergencies, or even everyday health needs, something as simple as a bandage, gloves, or an oxygen can make the difference between life and death.

At Sambunotan Youth Organization (SYO), our volunteers are on the frontlines, providing first aid, disaster response, and health support to communities in need. We’ve helped families affected by earthquakes, floods, and other emergencies such as vehicular accidents, but our work depends entirely on the supplies we have. Consumables like masks, gloves, disinfectants, and first aid kits run out quickly, limiting our ability to help especially during the busy holiday season.

This is why we are raising funds through “Bandages to Hearts: Fund Essential Medical Supplies.” Every donation will go directly toward purchasing medical consumables and essential equipment for our volunteers ensuring they are equipped to provide care, respond to emergencies, and save lives when the need is greatest.
